Self-fulfilling prophecy
Self-fulfilling prophecy (samorealizująca prediction) is a phenomenon which lies in the fact that certain expectations of other people, themselves, or future events that affect the behavior of others, or ourselves, which makes the fulfillment of expectations.
This occurs when information about the incident happen having come from a reliable source for individuals and under the influence of the information units act in such a way that eventually carry the contents of the prophecy. It is an unconscious phenomenon, and occurs in an involuntary way.
example of self-fulfilling prophecy may be, for example a rumor that the bank any time soon due to financial problems will decline. As a result of the propagation of this information among the bank's customers can receive the herd effect, when customers begin to believe in the rumor made it pull out of savings. The result of this operation is removing money from the bank and bring it into bankruptcy.
